A couple things about your Rules of Combat, Ranking Structure, and Rules of Combat.

Generally speaking, it's all to detailed for the general gamer. When you recruit someone, you have them sign up to the website, and I'm guessing that you expect new members to want to read it. Well when you have people telling the newer recruits that you don't have to read all of it, then their is a problem. If you want new recruits to stick with your community, if you want them to want to be here, I suggest that you shorten it up a little.

Here are a couple ways you could do that:

Mission Statement: It isn't long, but to a gamer maybe they see all the words and they don't want to be bothered. Maybe some do want to read the entire thing, but its monogamous. My suggestions based on what I read is to shorten it up to something like: "Our community (eXD is a gaming community that was built for gamers that want to have fun and play the game with other people to chat with, without cheating or harassment from other gamers". It's short, sweet, and to the point. Maybe you could put some of the other stuff in a "our history" page, or other things that you can focus on and go in to more detail with for the people who might want to know more about the community, because they'll expect a historical page to be longer.

Rules of Combat: Let me point out some key points in here

"1. All members must must read and understand the Xbox Live´┐Ż disclaimer"

This is something that we all know none of us read. Most of the "bigger" clans put this their, but their is simply no need to.

"2. eXD does not tolerate Racism, Discrimination, Harassment, Threats, or unappropriated practices that would be considered illegal by law enforcement"

Before I continue, let me quote rule number 5:

"5. Respect your community as well as outside the community, don't trashtalk or teabag, unless given the order to by a Citadel member, we still dont take crap from anyone, but we will act in a professional manner at all times. Show respect to every opponent, until they show disrespect to us. Our reputation as a community is MORE important than our match record"

Rule number two isn't needed because rule number 5 says the same thing, but in a broader way. In other words, people that break rule number 2 will ALWAYS break rule number 5, but people that break rule number 5 WON'T ALWAYS break rule number 2.

As for rule number 5, just shorten it up a little bit. Maybe something like this "Respect fellow gamers, unless disrespected first."

"6. 17 years old or higher to be apart of eXD, this is not daycare, unless approved by an Admiral. "

This rule isn't needed either. BEFORE YOU JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS, think about this. If your recruits have ANY standards on who they are recruiting whatsoever, they aren't going to recruit a "squeaker", or someone who is annoying, or someone who is immature, etc. Age shouldn't be the concern, it should be about the maturity and the personality of the person.

"8. Do not post pornographic images, excessive cursing, Software and other forms of piracy, Racketeering, Money laundering, Blackmail, Murder, Child Pornography, Prostitution, Bestiality, Incest, Slavery, Fraud, Cannibalism, Theft, Vigilantism, Harassment, and Acts of Treason anywhere on the properties of eXD and eXD websites, do that somewhere else "

Before I start, let me quote KSI's code of conduct rule 10

"10. The list of prohibited activities includes, but is not limited to: Illegal Drugs, Software and other forms of piracy, Racketeering, Money laundering, Blackmail, Murder, Child Pornography, Prostitution, Bestiality, Incest, Slavery, Fraud, Cannibalism, Theft, Vigilantism, Harassment, and Acts of Treason. ALL KSI MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND KSI's "CODE OF CONDUCT."

See the resemblance. How about the fact that your telling people how to live their lives, and your restating THE LAWS OF MOST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD, how about certain things like ACTS OF TREASON, CANNABALISM, BESTIALITY, INCEST, ETC. Seriously, this is where i'm pretty sure anybody that is going to join your GAMING community goes WTF!?!?!. Their is no need for it, it's a creepy rule AND (not that I'm a fan of a lot of the shit listed in those rules) YOUR TELLING PEOPLE HOW TO LIVE THEIR LIFE. Get rid of the rule, your not going to know if someone breaks it, and if they do they're going to get caught BY THE POLICE and you won't see them for a couple months.

"10. You will fire only if fired upon. If eXD or a eXD member is attacked verbally, you may return fire. As a community we will NOT initiate verbal conflicts, but if attacked, we WILL defend the ourselves "

Like rule number 2, rule number 5 already states the same thing, nuff said.

Okay and last but certaintly not least:

"The information contained in this document represents the current view of eXD on the issues discussed as of the date of publication. Hmm, is this a gaming community or some sort of corporate business website? Their is no need for this to be their, and I'm 90% sure that any case that goes to court that starts with "This guy stole my rules on my GAMING website, and this makes me really sad because they took my rules that are going to end up getting reworded in the end of this conflict anyway".

Next on the list is the Ranking Structure. A couple of notes, your mixing up The U.S. Navy/Coast Guard with the U.S.M.C (Marine Corp, which techinically speaking is a department of the Navy but it has it's own independent ranking structure)/Army. It would be easier if you stick to one part of the Armed Forces' Ranking Structure.

This is just my personal opinion, but I don't like your ranking structure the way it's set up is generally confusing. If I was to set it up, I would have it something like this:

Recruit: A new member of eXD. Their only duty is to go through basic training, which would be teaching them your personal recruiting methods. Generally, a recruit gets promoted in the first 30 minutes because it shouldn't take that long to go through the training, but if circumstances prevent the Recruit from being trained they will retain the rank until properly trained.

Private: A Recruit who has just finished basic training. They are now in practical training, where supervised by a Corporal, they go into matchmaking to look for possible recruits. Once they have found 1, the Private will have the recruit go through the recruitment process of getting into uniform, signing up on the website, etc. Once a Private has successfully recruited 3 people, they are promoted to corporal.

Corporal: Teachs Recruits Basic Training, recruits new members (unsupervised), and supervises Privates with their practical training. Once a Corporal has recruited 5 members on their own, They go through NCO training.

Sergeant: A Sergeant is in charge keeping the morale of the enlisted members high. They'll play games with them and keep them happy. While doing so, they'll analyze all of the enlisted members, and report any problems to their Lieutenant/Captain. A Sergeant who is officially going to be promoted to Lieutenant will first go through officer training.

Lieutenant: A Lieutenant is a Sergeant that has proven he has understood the NCO training, and has done an outstanding job. The Lieutenant is the acting CO of the Squad while the Captain is away for an extended period, and is tasked with helping the Captain with major decisions within the squad (Promoting/Demoting members, kicking out members, interpreting Sergeant's analysis on members).

Captain: When the current Captain has been chosen for promotion and a Sergeant is in place to replace the current Lieutenant, the Lieutenant will become the new Captain. The captain has the right to veto any decision made by the Lieutenant, and besides continuing his tasks as a Lieutenant, is in charge of the morale of the entire squad.

Lieutenant Colonel: Tasked with similar duties as a Lieutenant/Captain, but on a Division sized level. He/She is not in charge of all of the enlisted members, but if there needs to be a temporary leadership change in a company due to a major problem that has occurred in their squad, they will act as the Captain until replacements are found.

Colonel: In charge of the entire clan ops along with the General, they are tasked with the morale of all Company/Battalion commander's morale.

General: Along with Colonel's duties, they're tasked with the promoting/demoting of Company/Battalion Commander's, and have the right to BLACKLIST.

Citadel ranks

Founder: Equivillent to Admiral, exception any member who did not originally start the community cannot have this rank.

Co-Founder: Equivillent to Admiral but anyone can get this rank with dedication and trust. They earn the name Co-Founder because they have been in the community long enough to go through the entire ranking structure and/or had contributed a major proportion to the community.

Directors: Equivelent to General in old structure.

Maybe you should start your own community since you have alot of knowledge on how. This may not be the right community for you

most of what u are saying, your comparing it to KSI so if you want to say anything you might as well go to them. Because every clan is different in its own ways so everything in this clan is the way it is supposed to be.

Everything in eXD and the way it was made was because of trial and error. We understand your points, but things are put in place for a certain reason and all of the ones you brought with it are completely false. Check your sources first. About the KSI thing...it's called a disclaimer, google it. No one cares about what clan or clans you were in, if you want to brag about it, then go find another on.

well gotham he cant really go with KSI as me and several other individuals like about 8 to 10 others brought KSI to their knees and knocking their numbers down to less than 50 memebers after it was all done. but i do agree with you and everyone else on this.
